Eletricat's Choreographed Samba Dance Shows are authentically electrifying, original, colourful and fun! We believe in genuine Performer - Spectator connection!

All CHOREOGRAPHIES by Brazilian Dancer Eletricat Luna - CONTACT HER NOW!

Costumes: Vibrant traditional Samba costumes from Brazil which include sequin bikini or bodysuit + tall feather headdresses + feather wings and feather boas.

Performed to live band or to ipod tracks.

Duration: between 5 to 20 mins of choreography.

Can be followed by a freestyle Samba dance performance at beginning or after show.

Also a fun samba workshop right after the show usually gets everyone up on their feet feeling the Brazilian way!

Eletricat's Carmen Miranda Extravaganza!

Eletricat's Choreographed Carmen Miranda Can Can Extravaganza was first performed at Glastonbury Festival 2011 and was a fantastic success!!

Costumes: long colorful skirts are stripped off half way into choreography to reveal frilly yellow hotpants adding even more fun to the act. Fruity headdreses bring that unique Brazilian Miranda touch! It's all combined with fast Samba shaking and can can legs in the air!

ORIXAS SHOW :
Afro-Brazilian Angels of Nature

Eletricat's Orixas Dance was 1st performed at The Tron Theatre for Clan Macodo's Journey's of the Sea. Each dancer represent one of the Afro-Brazilian Goddesses of nature. The ritual involves chanting & traditional dance moves performed in a circle or semi circle. Dance & the music take you on a journey into Afro-Brazil roots.

Costumes: Traditional Orixas Costumes + headdresses & hand instruments in various colours representing each of the Afro-Brazilian Goddesses - Iemanja of the Sea, Iansa of thunders, Oxumare the snake, Oxossi hunter of the forests, Oxum of the rivers, Nana from earth/ mud - the beginning of all!
Duration: 15 mins. Performed to ipod track.

FREESTYLE : DANCERS
& MODELS

Eletricat Dancers perform freestyle monthly at various clubs and with bands & DJs too.

We also provide Samba Models for various events - from welcoming guests and having their pictures taken to photographic shoots for the papers, magazines and to promote events.

Eletricat and her dancers Brazambitas have been photographed for various shoots including for The Sunday Mail promoting Pele´s visit to Scotland, Irn Bru Adverts during the World Cup and many more!

Brazilian Dancer Eletricat has performed freestyle on stage with Tigerstyle DJs and various Bands at Festivals that include Glastonbury Festival consecutively for many years, The UKFlavours Festival in Russia and many others abroad including Madeira Island, Germany, Italy & France with Macumba Band.

Masterclasses

& Luna'Solar Fitness

Eletricat regularly delivers her Brazamba Samba Masterclasses at Hen Do´s and weddingsas well as various events.

She has delivered workshops across the UK and including abroad at the Batuk en Fete event in France, for The Shademakers event in Germany and for Oxford Abolicao Capoeira Batizado amongst many other private events, weddings, hen dos, engagement parties and for Dance Studios.

Costume: Eletricat wears her full Brazilian Samba costume for her BRAZAMBA SAMBA Masterclasses and which can be accompanied by a Show before or after.

For her longer Luna´Solar Wholistic Fitness Workshops she wears comfortable stretch dance outfits.

Duration: anything from 15 mins up to 3 hours.

Eletricat has been promoting Brazilian culture through her own lively events called Carnaval Nights and DJing since 1997 including corporate events, weddings, engagement parties, various club nights and bars including The Arches Cafe Bar, Arta, The Glasgow School of Art, Mono, The Swing, Strathclyde University Union, Glasgow University Societies (GUU & QMU) and Caledonian University.

SAMBA BANDS

Since 1997 Eletricat has been performing with two professional bands in the UK -
Macumba Band and Rhythm Wave.

Macumba Band blend African Brazilian rhythms with Scottish Bagpipes -

Rhythm Wave Band blend Brazilian rhythm with Gaelic songs. Rhythm Wave also plays Batucada and Maracatu style and Eletricat has choreographed dances to their songs!
