Eletricat Dance
Eletricat Dance Method was created and is choreographed by Brazilian Dancer Thaissa, A.K.A Eletricat, since 1997. Eletricat was born north-east Brazil but moved to Scotland with her family in 1991.
Eletricat METHOD has a unifying holistic approach to Dance Fitness. Her routine is designed to shape every woman's body & promote the complete electrifying body, mind & soul experience. Classes blend sacred Afro Indigenous Brazilian dances with other ancestral world dances in a contemporary powerful and flowing style since 1997.
Eletricat's unique choreographies are the core part of her classes combining mainly Brazilian & Samba moves bringing about a fun energetic workout! However, contrasting to the beginning, the end of every class is on the floor and brings elements of the Dances of the Afro-Brazilian Orixa Goddesses (Energies of nature) with basic belly-dance, Yoga, fitness and mudra prayers in a unique ritual that promotes the complete healing experience!
Eletricat has been performing solo and with her own Dance Group BRAZAMBA-SAMBA as well as providing Samba Dancers/ Models, Brazilian Carnaval Shows, Capoeira Shows, Brazilian DJs and Samba Bands to various events across the UK and abroad since 1997.
Eletricat has been promoting Brazilian events since 2000, through which she has raised £1000 to OAF (Organizacao de Auxilio Fraterno) helping children in need in Recife. She also raised a total of £100 to Amazon Watch, and promoted Scotland's Next Samba Dancer Event in partnership with Up Next Studios in October 2011.

Samba is a contagious rhythm! Good music moves me! Music & dance are ONE...it's a miracle & a gift from GOD. I don't take it for granted. And dancing is the purest celebration of Life - joy is the highest offering of gratitude we can dedicate to the higher Light of creation and to all those angels, warriors of Light around us.
My dance brings me happiness & to all other souls around me when I teach & perform!
This is my purpose in this life. Spread this transformative Energy to bring more Love & healing in this decaying modern world.
I made this choice when I was 17 years old. I decided I would dedicate my life to this mission, bringing people back to themselves and consequently to nature, to Life!... even if it was going to be one person at a time. It has not been easy, I am a very responsible person and dedicated to my mission, but I have the strenght of Joy inside me. I have never regreted it!
I have to add it's also incredible how my method and dance journey has not only kept me balanced and happy but has also transformed my body! The shape of my legs, my body has kept fit throughout 2 pregnancies and at age 46 (2025) still healthy and strong, it has kept my metabolism fast too. It's so easy to get in shape when you're having fun & you have a purpose! It feels great when you take care of yourself, especially when you start it from your roots and do it well.
Healing is a daily mission, one that should never be forgotten especially when we are slaves to such destructive system that disconnects us from all nature around us and our own nature! Healing is caring and loving ourselves every day, is reawakening and rediscovering ourselves without pressure, so we can be on our own path that will then naturally bring overall harmony, because it will show you the way to what is right from wrong by openning up your intuition connecting your subconscience and conscience.
This is the only way to true healing - an integrated holistic approach. Not just takling therapy sessions. And your healing is a very personal and intimate dance. That is why my method is really like a bible, a guide to helping spark that reawakening inside you, offering the basic tools so anyone can set themselves free!
I THANK all my students for also bringing me so much joy, respect & the opportunity to also evolve, keep improving my method, heal myself all while I give & share!"
